If you could walk us through a day or week in your life what would it consist of? By day I am a Sergeant in the U.S Army and one of Ft. Hood's Post Instructors of Modern Army Combatives. For the last few years I have spent my entire days on the mat training soldiers in hand to hand combat, and my evening have been spent training and teaching classes at MLCFC. I live and breath combat and combat sports. I train with some of the toughest guys on the planet and will continue to dedicate myself to achieving the goals I set for myself in this sport.

Hi guys, my name is Phil "The Peacemaker" Platt I am a mixed martial artist who is currently 4-1 in the cage as an amateur with my one loss coming by a very questionable disqualification in my first fight. I recently placed 3rd in the 2012 All Army Combatives Championship at 155lbs. I have been a member of the last two championship teams coming out of Ft. Hood (2011 and 2012) My goal in the cage is to keep fights exciting and end them abruptly, I pride myself on exciting striking and the ability to keep fights on the feet. Though as people know from my last two All Army Tournaments my wrestling has developed over the the years. I am a Blue belt in Jiu Jitsu. I have spent the last year and a half recoverying from multiple surgeries to repair a shattered right hand, which is what lead me into coaching. As an MMA Coach MLCFC has gone 6-1 in 2013.
